Summary: Yesung has a "brilliant" idea, which just leads to destruction.
Disclaimer: I don't own them, sadly. D: But boy if I did...
“I don’t know about this…” a warm sigh escaped from Hankyung’s lips as he stared unsurely at the patterned cloth that Yesung gripped loosely in his hands.
Yesung shifted his weight onto his right leg and tapped his foot lightly, a smirk evident on his face. “Don’t worry, it was manager hyung’s idea.”
Hankyung lost his worried look to one of disbelief. “N-no, this was your idea…he just said we need to work on our trust.”
“Exactly, and what better way to build up our trust than to blindfold each other and take turns directing one another!?” Yesung threw his hands dramatically into the air to state his point.
Hankyung could feel perspiration growing around his face, and his nerves were pretty much shot. Why was Yesung so calm about this? Unable to argue about the situation anymore, Hankyung let out a quiet whine and let his body slump forward.
A triumphant smile lit up Yesung’s face as he watched Hankyung argue within himself and eventually give in. “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you.”
Within seconds Hankyung’s vision went black, and his heart immediately started beating faster. “…okay”
He was pretty sure he just signed his death wish.
Yesung turned Hankyung’s body in the direction of the door. “Alright, take eight steps forward.”
Hankyung did as he said, and carefully stepped forward. After taking just five steps he felt Yesung’s hands grip his shoulders. Startled, he stiffened in his grasp.
“So, you take really wide strides…” Yesung let out a silent breath and turned Hankyung to his right, and away from the hallway wall that he was barely inches from running into.
Yesung ignored Hankyung, and directed him safely down the hallway to the living room. The living room was littered with people, among other things. Yesung’s eyes lit up when he saw all the food that was scattered on the coffee table. “Let’s take a break!”
“But, we just started!” Hankyung’s mouth was left open as he waited for some sort of instruction from the other, but he was left empty. All he could hear was the sound of people talking, and the noise from the TV.
“Hannie! Don’t just stand there, come sit down!”
Hankyung glared through his blindfold in the direction of the voice, which he knew had to belong to Heechul. “If only it were that easy.”
Immediately Yesung sat up straight. “Oh! Sorry…I got caught up in everything. Take two and a half steps forward, but don’t trip over Hae.”
“How am I supposed to know where he is!?”
“He’s two and a half steps forward!” Yesung shook his head, as if it were obvious.
One, two, half. Hankyung counted the steps inside his head. He stuck his foot out a little bit, and felt it come in contact with something warm. He assumed it to be Donghae. He bent down and placed his hands over the body that lay on the floor, and he felt Donghae shift…a little too much for his liking. “Stop moving…please.”
“Ahh….hyung! You’re…….tickling me!” Donghae gasped through giggles.
Hankyung firmly placed one hand on top of Donghae’s head, and he managed to place his other on the coffee table that the younger laid next to. He heard the sound of a camera go off, and his head shot up in the area he assumed the sound came from.
Yesung shrugged, “How could I not take a picture of this. You’re practically straddling Hae, blindfolded…and he is wearing an expression of pure pain.”
Giggles filtered through the air as Hankyung finally managed to step completely over Donghae. He straightened his body and awaited further instructions, but all he heard was a jumbled mess of voices.
“Take one step forward!”
“No! He will step on Heebum!”
“So, move the damn cat!”
“He can step over Heebum.”
“Did you not just see what happened when he stepped over Hae?”
“Heebum isn’t as big as Hae, it shouldn’t be that hard.”
“Are you calling me fat!?”
Hankyung’s head moved back and forth between the voices, unsure of what to do. “Guys?”
Everyone ignored him, and continued to argue back and forth. Before Hankyung could throw a tantrum in order to gain some kind of attention, he felt strong hands on his shoulders.
“Hyung, just pivot a little to your left, and take two steps forward. That way you can avoid Heebum.”
Hankyung smiled aimlessly and let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks Kangin.”
With ease Hankyung did exactly as he was told, and just as he was taking his second step his foot landed directly on someone’s thigh. A loud yelp was emitted from his mouth along with his victim’s mouth, and his body flung forward. His arms flailed, and he caught one hand on someone’s shirt. Instinct told him to grab on and he did, which caused that person to fall sideways into the lap of the person he was sitting next to. Hankyung continued to fall, and ended up falling on top of the people that were sitting on the floor against the couch.
Moans and groans could be heard throughout the room, but the loud echoing laugh that came from Kangin was predominant.
Hankyung lifted the blindfold from one of his eyes, and surveyed the mess he just created. Heechul and Ryeowook laid uncomfortably underneath Hankyung. While Yesung, Sungmin, and Kyuhyun laid awkwardly across each other on the couch. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Donghae’s head pop up from the side of the coffee table, wide eyed and jaw dropped.
“Great! Now we have to start from scratch, hyung!” Yesung roughly sat up, and crossed his arms over his chest.
Hankyung lifted himself off of the two members that were squished underneath him, and stared jaw slacked at Kangin. Kangin continued to laugh uncontrollably.
Yesung stood up and gently grabbed Hankyung by the elbow. “Put the blindfold back on.”
Hankyung’s eyes widened, and his head shot towards Yesung. “What!?”
“Let’s take a walk to the other dorm.” Yesung slipped the blindfold back over Hankyung’s eyes and tugged him towards the dorm door.
Hankyung attempted to protest, but all that came from his mouth was a mixture of Chinese and broken Korean. He had a feeling it was going to be a long day.
